Fort Panic RBA 43
One of the most genuinely uncrowded Regional Beach Accesses on all of 30A — 363 ft of Gulf frontage and a name Google Maps still gets wrong. Here’s how it actually works.
Quiet, Substantial, and Easy to Miss
Fort Panic RBA 43 sits on 2.3 county-owned acres with 363 ft of confirmed public Gulf frontage — one of the more genuinely uncrowded stops on the whole corridor. A coastal dune lake just north of the access limits development on that side, giving the whole area a quieter, more natural feel.

- Restrooms and an outdoor rinse shower
- ADA boardwalk ramp — all ramp, no stairs anywhere, easy for strollers, wagons, beach carts & wheelchairs
- Beach chair and umbrella rentals available
- The boardwalk infrastructure here is substantial — a smooth, easy walk to the water
Google Maps Has the Name Wrong
Google Maps incorrectly labels this access as “Dune Allen RBA.” The correct name is Fort Panic RBA 43, on Fort Panic Road just off 30A. Don’t let the map confuse you — this is a separate access from Dune Allen RBA, which sits further west.
A coastal dune lake just north of the access is part of what keeps this stretch feeling quieter than accesses further east.
